Moscow and Baku Agree on Timelines for Peacekeeper Negotiations in Karabakh

Russia and Azerbaijan are coordinating the timelines for the next round of negotiations regarding the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Karabakh. This was announced by Mikhail Evdokimov, the Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan, in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper.

The ambassador also noted that during the presidential elections in Russia, citizens of the Russian Federation residing in Azerbaijan will be able to vote at one stationary and two mobile polling stations. “During the presidential elections in Russia, citizens of the Russian Federation residing in Azerbaijan will be able to vote at one stationary and two mobile polling stations,” said Mikhail Evdokimov.

According to him, one of these polling stations is located in Khankendiy (Stepanakert) in the Karabakh region. The ambassador explained this by the presence of the Russian contingent stationed in Stepanakert.
