Our Understanding of the Territory of Armenia Exactly Matches Our Understanding of the Territory of the Armenian SSR, Says Pashinyan

We must clearly and unambiguously declare that our understanding of the territory of Armenia exactly matches our understanding of the territory of the Armenian SSR, and we conduct our policies based on this principle. This was stated by Nikol Pashinyan at the initiative meeting of the Civil Contract party in the Aragatsotn province.

“There is no great novelty in what has been said, as it has been recorded in our legal documents since 1991 in exactly this way. However, in socio-psychological and other aspects, our perception has, in any case, not always been like this. This is the internationally recognized territory of Armenia. And when our policy is based on a legitimate foundation, our mechanisms for defense are strengthened.

This conversation began when I was discussing the certificate of the Armenian cadastral registration. When each of you goes to obtain a construction permit and takes your ownership certificate with you, that construction falls within the framework of your cadastral property, its protected status increases,” Pashinyan noted.
