Issues in Armenia-Ukraine Bilateral Relations Under Discussion
On February 12, 2024, in Kharkiv, a meeting took place between the Armenian Ambassador to Ukraine, Vladimir Karapetyan, and the Governor of Kharkiv, Oleg Sinegubov. This was reported by the press service of the embassy.
During the meeting, the current situation in Ukraine, particularly in the Kharkiv region, as well as issues concerning the Armenian community in the region and specific aspects of Armenia-Ukraine bilateral relations, were discussed.
Present at the meeting were David Mkrtchyan, head of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine's headquarters, Bishop Markos Hovhannisyan, leader of the Armenian Diocese of Ukraine, Armen Aslanyan, Honorary Consul of Armenia in Kharkiv, and Armenian community representative and regional council member Armen Bakmanyan.
Following the meeting, accompanied by the Governor of Kharkiv, the ambassador participated in a ceremony organized by the Union of Armenians of Ukraine to provide humanitarian aid to hospitals in Kharkiv.
