NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has issued a statement promising that the North Atlantic Alliance will respond to any attempts to attack its member countries. Stoltenberg's words are quoted by Reuters.

“Any attack on NATO will be met with a unified and strong response,” assured the alliance's secretary-general.

Stoltenberg also sharply criticized everyone in the West who claims that NATO countries will not defend each other in the face of real threats. According to the secretary-general, such statements only endanger American and European soldiers and compromise the security of the alliance.
