Zelensky Cleans Up Ukraine's Armed Forces: New Head of General Staff Appointed
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has made significant changes in the leadership of Ukraine's Armed Forces, removing the Chief of General Staff, Serhiy Shaptyla, along with all his deputies. In his place, Major General Anatoliy Barhylievych has been appointed, who previously led the Territorial Defense Forces. This is likely not the last reorganization in the leadership of the Ukrainian army aimed at cleaning up the Zaluzhnyi team.
Additionally, people have gathered for a small rally in Maidan, protesting against the dismissal of Zaluzhnyi from the position of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
