VIDEO: Salvaged Goods and Products Are Removed from the Storage Facility
Salvaged goods and products are being removed from the burnt storage facility as firefighting efforts continue. Recall that on February 10, at 09:40, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a fire broke out in a storage area located on Tbilisi Highway in Yerevan.
A total of twelve fire-fighting units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, two fire ladders, on-duty teams from the Firefighting and Rescue Services, operational teams from the National Crisis Management Center, and a psychological support department specialist were sent to the scene.
According to preliminary data, the fire broke out in a 6,000 square meter section of a warehouse that covers an area of 25,000 square meters. It is worth noting that the fire has currently been contained. This information was provided to Auroranews by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Narek Sargsyan.
Additionally, several footage has been released showing the smoke from the warehouse fire as seen from different parts of the city.
