Netanyahu Plans to Conclude Military Operations in Gaza Before Ramadan
The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, believes that due to international pressure, the operation to eliminate Hamas brigades in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza should be completed within a month, by March 10. This was reported by the Times of Israel.
According to Channel 12, the Prime Minister recently stated in a meeting with the military cabinet that considering the international pressure, the operation in Gaza's southernmost city must conclude before the holy month of Ramadan, which, according to Arab astronomers in 2024, falls between March 11 and April 9.
During the same meeting, as the channel reports, Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Herzi Halevi told Netanyahu that the military is ready for the operation, but the Israeli government must first decide on a plan.
