The sports committee of Hangzhou has announced the cancellation of the friendly match between Argentina and Nigeria in China. This was reported by Gazeta.ru: "For known reasons, the competent authorities have concluded that there are no conditions for a match involving the Argentina national team. A decision has been made to cancel this event," the official statement said.

The phrase "known reasons" refers to a conflict situation involving Lionel Messi, the forward of the Argentine team and Inter Miami, in Hong Kong. The 36-year-old forward did not participate in the match due to an injury; however, just a few days later, he played in Japan, which caused outrage among the fans.

It is noteworthy that the Argentina-Nigeria match was scheduled to take place in the second half of March. During their tour in China, the South Americans were also expected to play against the Ivory Coast national team. No information is currently available regarding this game.
