Photographs: Car Crashes into Tree and Catches Fire; One Dead and Injured

A car crashed into a tree and caught fire on the Gargarr-Gyulagarak highway in the Lori Province this morning. One person has died. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

The call to the National Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was received around 08:25.

It is noted that before the firefighters arrived, the driver and one female passenger were pulled from the car by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who were passing through the area at that time.

The driver was taken to the Stepanavan Medical Center by the emergency medical service, while the female passenger died at the scene.

According to site information, the driver is 36-year-old Albert G., a resident of Lori Province, who serves in the Border Guard troops, while the deceased is 52-year-old Roza K., also a resident of Lori Province, who worked as the principal at the secondary school in Pushkino village.
