During a government meeting, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed the issue of the confiscation of illegal assets, noting that many arguments have been made about it. He said, "People have been blaming us for not seizing the tools and going to confiscate everything after the revolution. However, it also raises the question of what we mean by everything. We have decided to go the institutional route. We have debated that legislation extensively, and a question arose regarding its constitutionality and how much it could be seen as unconstitutional."

He also highlighted that the first signs regarding illegal property issues are already visible in 2023.
