Adam Kadyrov, the 16-year-old son of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, has received a medal at the UAE SWAT Challenge special forces competitions held in Dubai. This information was shared in a video posted by Magomed Daudov, the chairman of the Chechen Parliament. The video has caught the attention of "Caucasus. Realiy".

The competition's website states that it is organized by the Dubai police. Based on the results of the fourth day of the competition, the best result was shown by the "Akhmat" team, composed of fighters from the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs' Special Forces. In previous days, the "Akhmat" team placed fourth twice and once finished in 12th place, losing to fighters from the UAE, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries.

In his post, Daudov indicated that Adam Kadyrov had "supported" the fighters who arrived from the republic. According to a report from the "Grozny-inform" agency, Kadyrov Jr. was present at the awards ceremony as the head of the Chechen leader's security department. In Daudov's video, Adam Kadyrov is the first to participate in the awards ceremony and receive a medal.

At the end of September 2023, Ramzan Kadyrov released a video showing his son Adam beating Nikita Zhuravlev in a detention center, who is accused in a case related to the burning of the Quran. The Chechen leader had stated at the time that he was proud of his son. Following this incident, Adam Kadyrov has been awarded several regional prizes, the title of Hero of Chechnya, and the position of head of the Republic's security department.
