Salome Zourabichvili Accused of Hostility Towards Her Own Country in Georgia
Georgian MP Sozar Subari from the public movement 'People's Power' has accused the country's leader, Salome Zourabichvili, of hostility towards her own nation following her speech in Parliament, during which she largely criticized the authorities and emphasized the need for changes.
“I cannot call Salome Zourabichvili's speech critical; it was a hostile speech against the country. This was not the speech of the President of Georgia; it was the speech of a foreign agent,” Subari stated.
“When the President of the country travels abroad or meets with foreign partners in Georgia and directly states that Georgia does not deserve to join the European Union and gain candidate status, that is hostility,” the MP emphasized.
