Photos: Car Catches Fire Under Abovyan Bridge

On February 8, at 20:25, the Crisis Management Center of the Kotayk Regional Rescue Service received a report that a car was on fire under the Abovyan Bridge. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was revealed that the fire had started on the 16th km of the Yerevan-Sevan highway.

The fire was contained by 20:38 and extinguished by 21:02. The interior and engine compartment of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle (driver: G. T.) were damaged by the flames.
