VIDEO: Tucker Carlson to Interview Vladimir Putin, Preview Released
American television host Tucker Carlson's preview for an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin has gathered over 20 million views in less than three hours. Previously, Carlson explained why he wants to interview Vladimir Putin.
The journalist discussed his motivations in a video shared on his social media page. He stated that he plans to interview the Russian president because many Americans do not understand what is happening in Russia and Ukraine, even as they pay for it.
Carlson noted that all interviews with Zelensky published in the Western media are "not journalism, but state propaganda." He added that he has sent a request to the President of Ukraine and hopes to interview him as well.
"No Western journalist has attempted to interview Vladimir Putin, the president of the second country involved in this conflict," Carlson stated.
According to him, he attempted to speak with the Russian president three years ago, but the Biden administration illegally monitored him and his team, later releasing the information online.
"Last month, we tried again, but despite that, we came to Moscow. We are not here because we love Vladimir Putin; we are here because we love the United States. We paid for this trip ourselves, and we were not financed by the state or some influential group of people. Everyone will be able to watch the interview on our website without editing," the host said.
The announcement of his interview with Putin has already been posted on Carlson's website.
