VIDEO: Rubber Bullets, Water Cannons Used Against Anti-Government Protests in Argentina; Casualties Reported

The Argentine police deployed rubber bullets and water cannons against hundreds of protesters gathered in front of Congress, where legislators are discussing President Javier Milei's proposed reforms. This was reported by the Russian service of the BBC.

Milei has put forward a package of economic, social, and political reforms aimed at rapidly steering the country toward a free market, but not all Argentinians, including lawmakers, share his vision for the future.

The president himself warns that without radical reforms, Argentina's economy, which is already experiencing a serious crisis, could collapse, leading to what he describes as a "biblical-scale social catastrophe." According to media reports, at least 15 individuals have been injured during the anti-government protests in Argentina.
