Landslides in Western Georgia: Casualties and Missing Persons
At least four people have died and five others are missing following a landslide that occurred last night in western Georgia, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Currently, more than 200 rescuers are participating in ongoing search efforts near the village of Nergeeti.
Earlier, train services between Tbilisi and Batumi were halted due to another landslide near the village of Kharaguli. Another landslide had occurred the day before in the mountainous region of Adjara, resulting in the deaths of two individuals.
