Top Countries Contributing to Tourist Arrivals in Armenia

According to data published by the National Statistical Committee of Armenia, 2,316,666 tourists visited Armenia in 2023. This represents a 39% increase in visits compared to the previous year.

The largest number of tourists came from Russia, with 1,139,853 individuals, making up 49% of all visitors. Georgia ranked second, contributing 253,759 tourists, while Iran sent 150,766 visitors to Armenia.

Dozens of thousands of tourists also arrived from the United States, India, Germany, France, Ukraine, China, the Philippines, and other countries, with one visitor coming from Angola, Barbados, Gambia, Chad, and Saint Vincent.

In 2023, 23 citizens from Azerbaijan visited Armenia.
