Tokayev Accepts Resignation of Government

The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has accepted the resignation of the Republic's government. This was reported by the media, citing the press service of the head of state.
"In accordance with Article 70 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I have decided to accept the resignation of the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and to temporarily assign the duties of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan to Roman Vasilyevich Sklyar," the statement said.
At the same time, members of the cabinet have been instructed to continue carrying out their duties until the new government is appointed. The reasons for this cabinet decision have not been disclosed.
