Preliminary Cause of Major Explosion in Nor Aresh Revealed

Today, February 5, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 11:40 AM, the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a call reporting an explosion in one of the houses on 27 Street in the Nor Aresh neighborhood, with potential casualties.

According to Shamshyan.com, several citizens gathered at the scene indicated that the explosion was caused by a resident of house number 23 on the same street, who was reportedly experiencing mental instability and detonated the house, resulting in significant structural collapse.

Reports indicate that rescue teams are currently conducting search operations in the rubble to determine if there are any victims.

Earlier, Auroranews reported the explosion in Nor Aresh, mentioning that two houses collapsed and, according to eyewitnesses, there are two injured individuals.
