Explosion Reported in Nor Aresh Community

An explosion has been reported in the Nor Aresh community, with injuries confirmed. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

“On February 5th, at 11:36 AM, the Crisis Management National Center received a call reporting an explosion on 34th Street in Nor Aresh, Yerevan. Two fire-rescue teams from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Yerevan Fire and Rescue Department, two rescue teams from the Special Rescue Operations Center, the on-duty medical support department, operational groups from the Crisis Management National Center, the on-duty psychologist from the Psychological Support Department, and on-duty groups from the Fire Suppression and Rescue Operations Organization Departments are on site,” the statement said.

According to preliminary data, the explosion caused a collapse, and there are two reported injuries. The Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations and Director of the Emergency Situations Ministry, Colonel Kamo Tsutsulyan, along with other senior officials, are present at the scene.
