Germany Proposes Creation of a New Military Alliance

Boris Rhein, the head of the Hesse federal state, has proposed that Europe create its own military alliance without the participation of the United States. This was reported by 'RIA Novosti'.

According to him, the nuclear arsenal could be used for deterrent purposes.

Previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia has not spoiled relations with Europe; rather, European countries have done so by ignoring the interests of the Russian Federation. According to the country's leader, they have attempted to push Russia into the background without considering the state's interests.

Putin also mentioned that the Russian Federation is ready to build relations with the United States, but conditions have yet to be established.
