Closed and Impassable Roads: Trucks Cannot Pass in Certain Areas

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed and impassable roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and the Stone Lake are closed.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed to trucks due to blizzard conditions and is difficult to navigate for other types of vehicles.

In the regions of Amasia, Ashotsk, and Akhuryan, as well as in the cities of Jermuk and Gyumri, snowfall is occurring.

Blizzard conditions are reported in the winding roads of Stepanavan and the Aragats region.
