Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Again Complains About "Mines Placed by the Armenian Side"
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has once again expressed dissatisfaction with the "mines placed by the Armenian side," stating that the "failure of international partners to compel Yerevan to eliminate this threat leads to more casualties and injuries." According to Baku, 343 people have died from mine explosions since November 2020.
Earlier yesterday, Azerbaijan reported that a civilian was injured after stepping on a mine in the Terter region, resulting in the amputation of their leg.
In January, the National Security Service of Armenia informed that it planned to hand over eight new manuals of maps of mined areas to Azerbaijan. However, the Azerbaijani side reacted sharply to this announcement, emphasizing that it expects Armenia to present specific maps of all mined territories.
