Every 7th resident of Armenia shops on Wildberries. This was stated by the company’s founder and CEO, Tatyana Bakalchuk, in an interview with RIA Novosti while discussing the number of customers using the platform.

According to her, sooner or later, all of the company’s employees become users of the platform. There was even a case where a girl working in HR requested to block her access to the marketplace until she finished paying off her mortgage.

“I constantly shop myself, meaning I definitely place orders three to four times a day,” said the director of Wildberries. Speaking about the overall base of buyers, Bakalchuk noted that it consists of about 70 million people.
