Photos: Collision on Jamsulu-Gegharot Highway Leaves One Injured
On February 3rd, at 13:04, a report was received at the emergency management center of the Aragatsotn regional rescue department regarding an accident on the Jamsulu-Gegharot highway, indicating that assistance was needed. This was reported by the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Internal Affairs' regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a fuel-carrying truck of 'Zil' brand (driver A.G., born in 1970) collided with a 'Ford' brand cargo truck (driver H.Z., born in 1985) at the end of the Jamsulu village. The driver of the latter was trapped in the vehicle.
The rescuers de-energized the vehicles, extricated the trapped driver, and assisted him onto a stretcher for transportation to the ambulance. The injured individual has been hospitalized at a medical center, where doctors assessed his health condition as satisfactory.
