Peskov Comments on Nuland's Speech Addressed to Putin

The visits of US Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland to Kyiv typically do not end well. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, whose interview segment was published by journalist Pavel Zarubin on his Telegram channel.

The reporter asked the Russian president's representative to comment on one of the American official's recent statements. This refers to Nuland's speech in the Ukrainian capital, where she promised Russian leader Vladimir Putin "pleasant surprises on the battlefield."

“First, I would certainly prefer not to comment on Ms. Nuland. I think it would be better for my colleagues in the foreign ministry to address that. Secondly, as a rule, Victoria Nuland's visit to Kyiv does not end well,” said Peskov.
