Over 2200 Trucks Waiting in Line at Upper Lars

Over 2200 trucks are waiting in line at Upper Lars, reports Sputnik Georgia. Traffic is closed for vehicles with trailers and semi-trailers. The rescue service informs that there are closed and hard-to-navigate roads within the territory of Armenia.

Due to road repair works until February 15, a section of the M-6 highway near the Vanadzor-Alaverdi route will be closed for buses and trucks with trailers or semi-trailers from kilometers 38-40. An alternative road will operate through the town of Noyemberyan.

In the Aragatsotn region, the roads from the “Amberd” high-altitude meteorological station to the Amberd Fortress and the Кари Lake are closed. The Vardenyats Pass is passable for trucks with trailers if tire chains are used. The twists of Stepanavan are difficult for trucks to navigate.
