Hakob Arshakyan Advises Reading a Non-Existent Book: Director of Sinergi Has Not Written a Book
At the conference titled 'Artificial Intelligence for Business', Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan fabricated an artificial book that he claimed to have read, gaining new ideas from it. He even recommended it to others, particularly businessmen. This information is reported by Hayastan.news.
Arshakyan displayed a book featuring Ashot Hovhannisyan, the director of Sinergi, who is currently under two-month detention. He showed this book to conference participants, ranging from public officials to major businessmen, stating, 'I want to share about a person who recently published a book titled 'Uplift'. It is about Ashot Hovhannisyan, the director of the 'Sinergi' company. In his book, he talks about the digitization of Armenia since the time of the Soviet Union. We had the first digitized healthcare system in the Soviet Union and not only that. I believe we were one of the first in the world, and the author of all these very important achievements for Armenia is Ashot Hovhannisyan, who, with numerous uplifts and overcoming challenges in his life, is now the founder and director of a company with hundreds of employees enlisted among Armenia's major taxpayers. I would like us to applaud Ashot Hovhannisyan, and I urge all of you, especially representatives of business and the youth, to definitely acquire and read Ashot Hovhannisyan’s book 'Uplift', which has inspired me and given me many ideas,' Arshakyan announced from the podium.
The media has clarified that there is indeed a book titled 'Uplift', which was presented on March 16, 2023, but the author is not Ashot Hovhannisyan; it's Anna Konjoryan, who wrote about Hovhannisyan. In Anna Konjoryan's book, there is a line about Ashot Hovhannisyan: 'When a person strives to achieve something, he surely does it because he has motives.' Besides analyzing, I think one day the reasons behind Arshakyan's praise and applause will become known through facts.
It is worth noting that Arshakyan has advised businessmen to read the book of the detained director of Sinergi.
