Azerbaijan to Present Map in Four Months to Harm Armenia's Mining Industry
Azerbaijan has decided to thoroughly engage with Armenia's mineral resources and do everything to harm our mining industry. This is reported by Hraparak.
Currently, Azerbaijan is working on a map of Armenia's mining areas. It will show where mineral resources are located in Armenia. This information comes from the Azerbaijani Public Association of Cartographers. The map will cover all of Armenia, not just the mineral sites and industrial centers near the border with Azerbaijan. It will also contain fabricated environmental information regarding the pollution of rivers and their flow.
The map, according to Azerbaijan, will be ready in four months. It will feature Azerbaijani toponyms and will be presented in English, Armenian, and Azerbaijani.
It is not hard to guess why Baku has decided to address Armenia's mining sites once again. Under the guise of fabricated environmental issues, Azerbaijan, having already polluted the entire Caspian Sea, seeks to alert the world about the environmental situation in the South Caucasus. Recently, Azerbaijan, whose impudence knows no bounds, submitted environmental claims to the international court, aiming also to 'suffocate' Armenia entirely in this way. They are seeking compensation for environmental damage during the 'occupation' of Karabakh and demanding a halt to the pollution processes in the region by closing Armenian mines.
