Video: Aircraft Crashes into Mobile Homes, Casualties Reported in Florida
A Beechcraft Bonanza V35 light aircraft has crashed into a residential mobile home park in Clearwater, Florida. According to reports from Reuters citing the local fire department, several people have lost their lives, although the exact number is currently unknown.
Fire Chief Scott Ehlers stated that the aircraft fell onto one of the mobile homes, resulting in a fire that spread to four other trailers. Some residents were able to escape their homes without injury.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene promptly, extinguishing the flames within half an hour. The Federal Aviation Administration informed CNN that the pilot had reported an engine failure prior to the crash. The fate of other individuals on the aircraft remains unclear.
