Discussion on Suspending the Powers of Hayk Marutyan and 4 Other Council Members at Extraordinary Meeting
The Yerevan municipality has announced that an extraordinary meeting of the Yerevan City Council will be convened on February 5, 2024, during which the issue of suspending the mandates of five council members will be discussed.
According to the decision No. 360-A issued by the Mayor of Yerevan on February 1, 2024, and guided by the provisions of Article 30, Part 1 of the Law on Local Self-Government in Yerevan, as well as point 73 of the annex of the Yerevan City Council's decision No. 1-N of June 18, 2009, the extraordinary meeting is scheduled for 10:00 AM on February 5, 2024, with the following agenda:
- On the premature termination of Narine Hayrapetyan's powers as a member of the Yerevan City Council.
- On the premature termination of Hayk Marutyan's powers as a member of the Yerevan City Council.
- On the premature termination of Sona Aghikyans's powers as a member of the Yerevan City Council.
- On the premature termination of Gevorg Stepanyan's powers as a member of the Yerevan City Council.
- On the premature termination of Zarouhi Postanjyan's powers as a member of the Yerevan City Council.
- On making amendments to decision No. 45-N of the Yerevan City Council dated December 26, 2023.
