VIDEO: "Ddimik, Step Aside". Protesters Demand Resignation of Minister of Education

Today, another protest is being held near the Ministry of Education concerning the 7th grade textbook on "Armenian History." The next protest is scheduled for February 14.

Vazgen Petrosyan, the coordinator of the "Correct the Distorted Textbook" movement, stated in a conversation with reporters that they are starting a series of protests from today and hope that the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Zhanna Andreasian, will resign and the sector will be regulated.

"We demand that all textbooks be reformed and rewritten, starting from "Armenian Literature," as well as "Armenian History." We also demand that the government retract the unfounded decision to rename 'Armenian History' to 'History of Armenia,'" he said.
