New Bus Rolling Stock to be Introduced: Municipality

The Yerevan Municipality, in collaboration with the European Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the Asian Development Bank, is implementing a series of projects. According to a statement from the municipality to News.am, these projects are aimed at the development of infrastructure.

During a meeting with the bank representatives, Yerevan's Deputy Mayors Levon Hovhannisyan and Suren Grigoryan discussed the progress of the projects and outlined future steps.

The parties addressed the introduction of new rolling stock for electric transport, the reconstruction of the metro, and other programs aimed at energy efficiency as part of the reviewed projects.

The municipality reported that an agreement has been reached to discuss specific proposals in the near future regarding the practical implementation of the envisioned projects, as well as to provide technical, advisory, and financial support.
