How Many Armenians Remain in Artsakh: 'Hraparak'
According to the newspaper 'Hraparak', following the forced displacement of Armenians from Artsakh, it was reported that around 40 Armenians remained in the region, while the Azerbaijani side claimed the figure to be 100. Sources from Artsakh have informed us that by the end of December, a maximum of 15 individuals remain in Artsakh, primarily elderly and disabled, possessing either Russian or mixed heritage.
The Red Cross is attending to their needs by delivering food 1-2 times a week, or they are receiving assistance from Russian peacekeepers. We were told that there are no Azerbaijanis settled in Stepanakert, although recently the Azerbaijani propaganda machine announced that polling stations for presidential elections had opened in Stepanakert.
It is likely that Aliyev's regime is preparing a new staging, aiming to deceive the world with photos of the remaining Armenians voting, suggesting that a population still exists in Artsakh, thereby asserting that 'Artsakh is Azerbaijan.'
