Why the Tunnel Next to Yerevan's Myasnikyan Avenue is Closed: Details

Today, January 29, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 18:40, the Patrol Service of the Police of the Republic of Armenia received information that a "container" had detached from a Scania brand truck and fell on the road in the tunnel section leading from Heratsi Street to Myasnikyan Avenue, blocking the road.

According to Shamshyan, the commander of the Patrol Service of the Police of the Republic of Armenia's Yerevan squad, Andranik Isakhanyan, along with his deputy Levon Manukyan, senior inspector Harutyun Grigoryan, and the commander of the 4th battalion, Armen Gasparyan, arrived at the scene.

Currently, patrol officers from the 1st and 3rd divisions of the 4th battalion are carrying out enhanced duties and are waiting for special equipment to remove the "container" from the tunnel. Fortunately, there are no casualties.
