SERIOUS ACCIDENT IN KOTAYK REGION: INJURIES REPORTED

On January 28, a serious car accident occurred in the Kotayk region. At approximately 10:40 AM, vehicles driven by 35-year-old Hovhannes Khachatryan from Kotayk, 30-year-old Vladimir Manucharyan from Tavush, and 29-year-old Pavel Berdnik from Russia, collided on the 16 km stretch of the Yerevan-Sevan highway.

According to Shamshyan.com, the accident resulted in injuries for drivers H. Khachatryan, V. Manucharyan, and a passenger with Manucharyan, 22-year-old Arthur Beglaryan, all of whom were taken to the Abovyan Medical Center.

A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the accident, according to the investigative department. Witnesses at the scene claimed that the cause of the accident was the icy road conditions.
