North Korea Fires Cruise Missiles
North Korea has fired several cruise missiles off its eastern coast today, according to South Korean military officials. This comes just a few days after Pyongyang conducted a test launch of new strategic cruise missiles from its western coast. Yonhap news agency reported this information.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) reported that the launch by North Korea occurred at 8 a.m. local time in waters off a naval port.
"Our military is closely coordinating its actions with the United States to monitor signs of North Korean provocations," the committee's statement read.
