Fatal Car Accident in Aragatsotn Province

A tragic car accident occurred today in Aragatsotn Province due to icy road conditions. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

It is noted that around 12:30 PM, an Opel vehicle traveling on the Byurakan-Ashtarak highway towards Byurakan veered into the opposite lane and crashed into a tree.

As a result of the accident, three people, including two children, were hospitalized at the "Asharak" Medical Center with injuries. Later, it was reported that one of the injured had died without regaining consciousness.

The deceased is the mother of the driver, while the injured are her grandchildren. The primary cause of the accident is attributed to the poor condition of that stretch of road.

A criminal investigation has been initiated by the Aragatsotn Regional Investigative Department, where the identities of the driver, the deceased, and the injured are being clarified.
