The Rescue Service reports that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roadways within the Republic of Armenia.

Due to road renovation works, the segment of the M-6 highway near the 38-40 km mark between Vanadzor and Alaverdi will be closed for buses and cargo trucks with trailers or semi-trailers until February 15. A detour will operate through the town of Noyemberyan.

The roads leading from the town of Tashir to the village of Vardaghbyur in Shirak Province, as well as the Vardaghbyur-Hartaghuys and Vardaghbyur-Zorashen roads, are closed.

The Vardenyats Pass and the road leading from the village of Syunik to the junction in Jermuk are closed for trucks with trailers.

All roadways in the Lori and Syunik provinces, the Vanadzor-Dilijan roadway, and the routes from Aparan city in Aragatsotn Province to the village of Tsilkar and to Spitak are closed for trucks and difficult to navigate for other vehicles.

The Vardenyats Pass, the Artik-Alagyaz, and the Amasia-Berdashen roads are challenging for all types of vehicles, while the Mastara-Lanjik roadway is closed for trucks.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the North Ossetia crisis management center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for all types of vehicles.
