Putin and Lukashenko to Hold Bilateral Meeting: Peskov
The Presidents of the Russian Federation and Belarus, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko, who participated in the opening ceremony of a memorial dedicated to the victims of the Nazi genocide in the Leningrad region on January 27, will continue their unofficial communication in the evening. On Sunday, they are scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting. This was announced by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president.
“Both today and tomorrow, the leaders' unofficial communication will continue. A bilateral meeting is planned for tomorrow,” Peskov noted during a conversation with reporters.
It is worth mentioning that January 27 marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad from blockade in Russia.
