Car Overturns in Ravine Due to Black Ice, Injuries Reported

Today, on January 27, a serious traffic accident occurred in the Kotayk Province due to black ice on the road. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

At around 12:50 PM, 30-year-old Maks S., a resident of Yerevan, lost control of his Lexus vehicle on the Yerevan-Sevan highway at the 24 km mark due to the black ice and ended up overturning in a ravine after colliding with a rock.

As a result of the accident, two individuals were injured and were assisted by civilians and a rapid response team of doctors from the Byureghavan ambulance service, who arrived promptly. The injured were transported to the Abovyan Medical Center.

A criminal investigation has been initiated by the investigative department to determine the identities of the injured parties.
