Russia Increases Weapon Production Several Times: Shoigu

Russia has managed to increase the production of weapons and ammunition several times in 2023. This was announced by Sergey Shoigu during a one-day reception of military products. The information is provided by gazeta.ru.

The Defense Minister reported that last year, within tight deadlines and without losing quality, they succeeded in delivering facilities for special military operations in Ukraine, as well as for military and special purpose needs. According to him, a total of 2,772 buildings and structures have been constructed.

He noted that all of this is due to the effective work of the Russian Ministry of Defense and enterprises of the defense-industrial complex. He stated that the country’s combat capabilities are growing, and successes in weapon production have been aided by the expansion and modernization of capacities, as well as an increase in labor productivity levels. He added that many enterprises have commissioned new workshops, lines, and sections equipped with high-tech equipment.
