Video: Polish Farmers Prepare for Protests Against Importing Goods from Ukraine
Thousands of Polish farmers are preparing for a nationwide protest set to begin on Wednesday, occurring simultaneously in 150 cities and villages across Poland. According to Radio Zet, the upcoming demonstrations are gaining traction.
The main demand of the protesters is to halt the unchecked import of food products from Ukraine and non-EU countries, which farmers argue do not comply with EU regulations.
According to the organizers' plans, farmers will bring hundreds of tractors and other agricultural machinery to the roads. "The columns of tractors will move along the roads of Poland," they stated.
