Photos: Opel Car Ends Up Upside Down on Gas Pipeline, Injuries Reported

The emergency services report that there have been injuries on the Yerevan-Eraskh highway.

On January 21, at 18:38, the Crisis Management Center of the Ararat Regional Rescue Service received a call stating that an accident had occurred near the village of Mkhchyan, with injuries reported.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that at the 52nd kilometer of the Yerevan-Eraskh highway, a collision took place between a Mitsubishi vehicle (driver S. H., born 1980) and an Opel vehicle (driver M. M., born 1992), which went off the roadway. The Opel vehicle ended up upside down on a gas pipeline.

Before the rescuers arrived, the driver of the Opel and three passengers were hospitalized. Additionally, passengers R. S. (born 1988), A. H. (born 2010), I. H. (born 2012), and H. H. (born 2016) from the Mitsubishi vehicle were taken to medical centers.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicles from electricity and closed the valves of the gas cylinders.
