Armenian Weightlifting National Teams Announced for European Championships

The European Weightlifting Federation (EWF) has announced the lineups for the national teams participating in the European Championships to be held in Sofia.

Representing the Armenian men's team are Gor Sahakyan (67 kg), Rafik Harutyunyan (81 kg), Andranik Karapetyan (89 kg), Davit Hovhannisyan (96 kg), Hakob Mkrtchyan (96 kg), Garik Karapetyan (102 kg), Samvel Gasparyan (102 kg), Petros Petrosyan (109 kg), Varazdat Lalayan (+109 kg), and Simon Martirosyan (+109 kg). The reserves include Garnik Cholakyan (61 kg) and Ara Aghanyan (96 kg).

The Armenian women's team roster features Aleksandra Grigoryan (55 kg), Izabella Yailyan (55 kg), Tatev Hakobyan (81 kg), Liana Gyurjyan, and Hripsime Khurshudyan (87 kg).

The European Weightlifting Championships will take place from February 12-20.
