Photos: Six Cars Collide on Acharyan Street, Injuries Reported
On January 19, at 22:50, the National Center for Crisis Management received information about a traffic accident on Acharyan Street in Yerevan, with reports of a gas leak.
A firefighting and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.
It was found that several vehicles were involved in the collision: a Toyota Camry (driver: A.G.), a Nissan Altima (driver: A.A., born in 1993), an Opel Astra (driver: S.K., born in 1985), a Lada Priora, a Suzuki (driver: S.E.), and a Toyota RAV4 (driver: L.N., born in 1975). As a result of the accident, the door and window of a fast food outlet were damaged.
Passengers A.R. and E.E. from the Toyota RAV4 were hospitalized.
Rescuers disconnected the power from the Opel Astra, closed the valve on the gas cylinder, and secured the area.
