Passenger Plane Crashes in the Mountains of Afghanistan
A passenger plane from India has crashed in the mountainous region of Badakhshan province in Afghanistan, reports Pajwak news agency on X social platform.
“On Sunday, local officials reported that the Indian passenger plane had crashed in the mountainous area of Badakhshan,” the report explains.
The Falcon 10 aircraft, which has gone missing in Afghanistan, is registered in the state registry of civil aircraft of Russia. It has been clarified that it lost contact the previous night and disappeared from radar screens.
“According to preliminary data, there were (six) people on board, including four crew members and two passengers,” the department added.
The plane was conducting a special charter flight from Gaya (India) to Tashkent and Zhukovsky.
