An Electronic Platform Will Be Created to Regulate Taxi Services

In Armenia, an electronic platform will be established to regulate the taxi service sector, with its launch scheduled for September 1, 2024. This was reported to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a discussion on January 19 at the State Revenue Committee regarding the committee's operations report for 2023.

According to the government of Armenia, the Prime Minister was also briefed on the process of implementing a universal income declaration system for individuals, with programming work on the system expected to be completed by March.

Individuals submitting declarations can receive compensation from their income tax for social expenses incurred in the educational and healthcare sectors for themselves and their family members. A number of electronic platforms have also been implemented and improved in tax and customs authorities, including a unified database for customs violations, a system for post-release checks, a notifications system, and the new e-invoicing system, which provides convenient tools for issuing accounting documents.

A transfer pricing registration system has also been introduced, with administration done electronically. In the near future, a goods registration system will also be established in customs control zones. The electronic platform for taxi service regulation is set to launch on September 1, 2024.

The State Revenue Committee received international certification for the "Information Security Management Systems" ISO/IEC 27001-2013 standard last year.
