On January 18, at 22:16, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that an accident occurred near the intersection of the 7th district of Yerevan, involving a collision between two vehicles. A citizen is reportedly trapped, according to the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Responder teams from the Fire and Rescue Service of Yerevan have been dispatched to the scene, including one operational unit and a rescue team from the Center for Special Rescue Operations of the Ministry.

It has been determined that a collision occurred near the intersection of Davit Bek and Hunan Avetisyan streets, involving a "Toyota" (driver A. M., born in 1999) and a "BMW" (driver H. A., born in 2001). The passenger in the latter vehicle was reported trapped.

Prior to the rescue teams arriving, the drivers and the passenger of the "Toyota" (B. D., born in 1999) were hospitalized, where their health condition was assessed as satisfactory. The rescuers de-energized the vehicles, closed the valves on the gas cylinders, and extricated G. M. (born in 1969), a passenger in the "BMW," from the wreckage, only to confirm his death upon reaching the ambulance.

The rescuers carried out cleaning operations on the roadway.
