Former French national football player and European champion Nicolas Anelka has discussed the prospects of establishing a football academy in Armenia with the president of the Football Federation of Armenia, Armen Melikbekyan. This information was reported by the press service of the FFA.

Today, the footballer visited the FFA technical center/football academy and got acquainted with the infrastructure.
“We have all the conditions, the area for the academy is huge, everything meets European standards. From here, stars of global magnitude can emerge,” he stated.

It is worth recalling that Nicolas Anelka was a champion of the 2000 European Championship with the French national team. During his professional career, he has played for PSG, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Chelsea, and several other clubs.
